The story of Indian Land Imports:
Terry started his career working for Toyota more than 20 years ago after graduating with a degree in automotive repair. He worked alongside his father at the dealership before his father retired. Terry expanded his knowledge base to include Lexus when he went to work for a dealership nearby and was employed there for seven years. He always dreamed of owning his own business so that he could provide that one-on-one relationship with his customers. He always wanted to be “Your Hometown Mechanic”. After years of dreaming about it, he finally opened Indian Land Imports March 1, 2010. He began to build his business from the ground up and word spread quickly about the quality of work he provided, his “downhome” feel, and especially his trustworthiness. Terry has always known how important customer satisfaction and honesty is from his early beginnings working in the dealership and he has continued to strive to make everyone he meets a happy customer. He has always thought that it was important that each customer feels confident in his performance and just as important that the customer has a clear understanding of what may be wrong with their car. He explains the diagnosis, the needed repair(s), and the cost associated with those repairs. Terry is excited to announce that the shop has moved to Van Wyck and will reopen on July 13, 2022 The new location will provide more space and the ability to add more staff and more vehicles to their repertoire. The shop has an amazing design that Terry believes his customers can enjoy and the community can be proud of. We are moving right now will soon be operating in our brand new facility at 7430 Van Wyck Road, Van Wyck, SC.

Indian Land Imports is like having a family member who is a great auto mechanic! I have been taking all our family cars there for maintenance and repairs for 8 years and would not go anywhere else. They are a talented and kind group of people and prices are very fair. The next most important thing after having a good doctor is having a good auto mechanic, and that is Indian Land Imports.

I have been bringing my cars here for a while and Terry and his team have done an excellent job with my vehicles. They are extremely helpful and accommodating , there is no pressure and everything is explained well. I trust Terry and his team and Chris at the front desk is a true jewel to the company and the dogs are an added bonus. All of the service guys I have met are great and very knowledgeable.

I've been taking my car to Terry for years and once again had a great experience. He changed my oil, took the time to check the car over, and was very clear about what did not need to be fixed. I really appreciate his honesty and the fact that he never tries to upsell unnecessary work. The service was thorough, fairly priced, and gave me real peace of mind. I wouldn't take my car anywhere else.

I have been here for large repairs, small repairs, and oil changes. They do excellent work, easy to work with Chris at the front office and the prices are fair and very reasonable. Terry is alway there to answer any questions you may have. Compared to where I was going it has been a fantastic experience with our two Toyotas.

I removed the head covers on my 2006 Toyota Sequoia. I had trouble getting the new OEM seals installed so stopped by and asked for help. The team was very gracious to check it out, showed me what I was doing wrong, installed them on the spot and all this for a very reasonable price. Prompt, well informed, courteous service. Awesome!

I am 84 and have had numerous times to have cars undergo repair or maintenance service. For close to ten years my cars have been serviced at Indian Land Imports. Terry has saved me money, and his services have always been professional and second to none. His secretary, Chris, is also very polite, friendly, and accommodating. I strongly recommend Indian Land Imports.

If I could give them 10 stars, I would. The most honest, trustworthy, automotive shop I have ever done business with. I drive 2 hours round trip to drop off and 2 more hours to pick up!! The best!
